The husband is trying to convince Eddie Nedwards that he donated his Wimbledon winnings to the Large Hadron Kaleidoscope.
It's not going well.
I wish the husband really did have some Wimbledon winnings. And I wish there really truly was a Large Hadron Kaleidoscope.
Real life can be so rubbish.
So, is reading actually more important than living? It's so hard to tell.

The Large Hadron Kaleidescope is designed to detect the Kod particle. It will test the theory that the oceans are in fact full of undetectable 'dark fish'.
