The kid and I are home in Canberra again, although we had rather expected to be in Melbourne this evening after a week in Sydney.
My appendix had different views. The kid was not impressed to see another holiday spoiled by rushing-to-hospitalness, but pleased it was not him being rushed to hospital for a change.
It feels pretty good having no appendix.

Get well soon, and wishing you an uneventful (except for the good sort of events) few decades.
Now I'm confused. Was this life or was it books. Oh I guess you'd go t a book binder to remove a book's appendix.. though if it were an eBook you'd probably do it yourself.
I understand the do-it-ourself approach has been done with the 'life' sort of appendix, but I am quite sure going to hospital was a much better option.
I hope the recovery is quick and easy.
